Gestern, am Sonntag, kam Gandalf zu Besuch und wir konnten nochmal so richtig schön zusammen toben. Wir beide kennen uns ja jetzt schon viele Monate - seit Gandalf bei seiner Familie eingezogen ist - und wir sind so richtig dicke Freunde. Aus dem kleinen Gandalfwelpen ist ein richtig großer Kerl geworden und wir können jetzt so richtige Eurasiertobespiele spielen. Das hat dann manchmal was von Gladiatorenkämpfen, besonders wenn wir uns beide so aneinander aufstellen und uns die Beisserchen zeigen, aber das Ganze ist total friedlich und leise. Uns macht das richtig Spaß uns mal so richtig auszutoben. Zwischendrin kuscheln wir uns dann immer mal wieder zusammen, um uns etwas auszuruhen und dann geht es mit neuem Elan weiter. Yesterday, Sunday, came Gandalf over to visit and we had a great time playing together. We both know eachother very long now - actually since Gandalf came to his family - and we are very close friends. Little Gandalf-puppy developped into a grown dog, and now we can play real Eurasier-"fight"-games. Sometimes that seems like gladiatorial games, especially when we show our teeth, but it is actually very friendly, and quiet. We have a lot of fun, when we can play together like that, and our people love to watch us, and they are amazed. In between our "fights" we cuddle up together, to draw new strength for the next round;). So here is a serie of our gladiatorial games pictures:

Eine Seefahrt die ist lustig...../ Dogs on the water ....

Hallo, mal wieder! Kennt Ihr Wilhelm von Nassau? Nein, nicht den Graf, der 1487 geboren wurde, sondern das gleichnamige Schiff, dass in Weilburg auf der Lahn fährt. Also, seit heute kennen Gandalf, ich und viele andere Hunde dieses Schiff sehr gut. Wir haben nämlich heute mit der Hundeschule des Tierschutz Weilburg (Gandalf's Hundeschule) einen Schiffsausflug mit Schleusendurchfahrt und Einfahrt in Deutschlands einzigen Schiffstunnel gemacht. Da Gandalf und ich zusammen waren, hat das Spaß gemacht.

Hello again! Do you know Wilhelm of Nassau? No, not the count who was born in 1487, but the boat with the same name, in Weilburg. So since today Gandalf, me and many other dogs know this boat very well. Cause today we went on a boat trip with the dog school from the dog shelter Weilburg (this is the dog school Gandalf attents). We even passed watergates and went into Germany's only ship tunnel with the boat. Since Gandalf was with me, I considered it fun;).



Hier sind wir mitten im Hundeschnautzengewühl - meine Leute haben gar nicht gezählt, wieviele Hunde (und Hundefutterbeschaffer) denn so mit waren, aber es waren schon sehr viele. Gandalf und ich waren übrigens die einzigen Eurasier.

Here we are in the middle of a bunch of dogs - my people did not count how many dogs (and their two-leggers) participated, but it were many. Gandalf and I had been the only Eurasier dogs, though.


Okay, Gandalf. Was denkst du? Wollen wir uns morgen wieder treffen, damit wir nochmal so richtig toben können?

Okay, Gandalf. What do you think? Do we want to meet again tomorrow to play some?


Also, alles in Allem war das eine sehr schöne Bootsfahrt. Vielen Dank nochmal an die Organisatoren vom Tierschutz Weilburg e.V.

So, all in all we had a lot of fun! Thank you again to the organizers for putting this nice trip together.

Heute, zur Feier meines "11 Monate Geburtstag" waren wir mal wieder im Wald spazieren und haben einen wunderschönen Weiher gefunden. Ich hatte viel Spaß beim schwimmen und toben im Wasser. Wasserscheu bin ich definitiv nicht!

Today we celebrated my "11 months birthday" with a nice walk in the forest. There we found a beautiful pond, and I had lots of fun swimming, and playing in the water. I am definitely not hydrophobic!

KZG Siegerland Sommerfest / summer party from our dog breeders club KZG

Hmmm, das war ein wirklich ereignisreiches Wochenende und während ich so vor mich hin schlafe, hat mein Frauchen mal eben ein paar Fotos hochgeladen. Heute waren wir beim Sommerfest der KZG Siegerland. Eigentlich war ich ja heute morgen noch sehr müde, als es ans Aufstehen ging. Aber glücklicherweise ist ja das Kunstertal nicht weit von uns entfernt und so konnte ich erstmal ausschlafen.

Und kaum angekommen traf ich auf Gandalf und schon ging der Spaß los. Wir beide liefen erst mal eine Runde ums Feld um die Anderen zu begrüßen. Und bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen wollte auch jeder gerne begrüßt werden und begrüßte auch uns freudig.

Dann ging es erst einmal auf zu einem schönen Spaziergang. Vorbei an einem Bach, der interessantes, braunes Wasser hatte. Da sahen wurden dann aus den ersten Eurasiern, einschließlich mir, wieder Eurasier Wundertüten, die die Fellfarbe wechseln. Okay, bei mir sah man das nicht sooooooo deutlich, aber witzig war's schon. Meine Tante Kimba und ich sprangen dann auch ein wenig später in einen Teich - da hatte ich meine Normalfarbe wieder.

Dann gab es erst einmal Futter für die Zweibeiner. Ich war so begeistert über die vielen Hunde, dass ich noch nicht mal angefragt habe, ob für mich auch etwas Essbares dabei ist.

Während die Zweibeiner sich unterhielten wurde für uns auch ein Parcour aufgebaut. Alina und mir hat das großen Spaß gemacht. Hier auf dem Bild bauen Alina, meine Schwester Berta und ich eine Stange zum Drüberspringen auf.



Wow, that was a really exciting weekend, and my two leggers got some pix uploaded while I am sleeping. Today we were at the summer party from the KZG (our dog breeders club). Actually I was still tired from yesterdays dog show when I had to get up this morning. But the Kunstertal is not too far away from our home and so I could sleep in.

And when we got there, the first I met was Gandalf and so the fun started. We both ran around the place to check things out and to greet everyone. And most greeted back in a nice way with very few exceptions.

Then we went for a nice walk. We passed a stream which contained interesting brownish water. So some of the Eurasiers sort of changed their colour, and of course I was amongst them;). Okay, with my fur you could not tell that much of a difference, but it was still funny. And a little later my aunt Cimba and I jumped into a pond, and then we got our regular colours back.

Then there was food for the two leggers. I was so excited about the many different dogs that I did not even ask my people for my food.

Then my Alina and I checked out an Agility parcour while the humans talked and socialized. We both liked that a lot. Here on this picture you can see Alina, my sister Berta and me while we helped building the parcour.

Hier komme ich mal kurz vorbeigeflitzt. Ich muß meine Menschen ja wissen lassen, dass ich sie vor lauter Hunden nicht vergesse.

Here I come running by. I need to let my people know that, even though there are so many dogs around, I do not forget about them.

Und hier sind dann Gandalf und ich beim Ausruhen zu sehen. Gut, dass mein Frauchen schnell auf den Auslöser gedruckt hat, denn allzu viel sind wir nicht zum Ausruhen gekommen;).

Hurra, ich bin Rheinland- Pfalz- Jugendsieger!!!! - Hurray, I won the title Youth winner Rheinland Pfalz

Mein Herrchen und Frauchen, meine Alina und ich fuhren heute nach Ludwigshafen zur Internationalen Rassehundeausstellung des VDH. Mein Freund Gandalf und ich waren in der Jüngstenklasse (Gandalf) und Jugendklasse (ich) gemeldet. Gandalf und ich hätten uns ja eigentlich lieber zum Toben verabredet, aber um unsere Menschen glücklich zu machen, machen wir ja viel - umgekehrt aber auch.

Ist aber auch prima gelaufen: Gandalf wurde Erster in der Jüngstenklasse mit vv1. Ich wurde Erster in der Jugendklasse mit SG1, bekam die Anwartschaft für den Jugendchampion des KZG und des VDH, und durfte sogar hinterher beim BOB mitmachen. Außerdem bin ich Jugendsieger Rheinland - Pfalz geworden. Wir beide bekamen eine super Bewertung und wir durften sogar noch einige Zeit zusammen Toben. Gandalf ist wirklich ein prima Freund und Kumpel!


My people, my Alina and I went today to Ludwigshafen to the International dog show. My friend Gandalf and I participated in the show. Gandalf in the puppy class, and I in the youth class. Gandalf and I would have preferred to meet to play together, but since we love our people we do everything to make them happy - and vice versa.

Anyways, things went great: Gandalf was the winner in the puppy class and got a "very promising" as evaluation. I was the winner in the youth class, and was evaluated with "very good 1", I got my first awards for Youth Championchip for the KZG and the VDH, and was allowed to participate in the BOB, Best of Breed, contest. Also I won the title "Youth winner of Rheinland Pfalz". Gandalf and I got a great evaluation, and we were given the opportunity to play together for a while. Gandalf is really a wonderful friend!

Gandalf kam zu Besuch/ Gandalf came to visit=)

Am Samstag kam mein Freund Gandalf mit seiner Familie zu Besuch! Den mag ich total gerne. Erst war uns ja ein bisschen zu warm zum rumtoben und wir beide haben uns meistens im Haus verkrochen während unsere Zweibeiner den Grill angemacht haben. Aber später am Abend haben wir dann doch noch ganz toll gespielt. Gandalf ist jetzt gar nicht mehr so viel kleiner wie ich und er ist ein total hübscher und lieber Eurasier. Wir können herrlich zusammen toben. Allerdings legen wir uns zwischenzeitig auch schon mal ganz gemütlich zusammen in irgendeine Ecke.


On Saturday my friend Gandalf and his family came over for a visit. I like him very much! At first it was too hot to run around, and we both hid in the house while our two leggers worked to get the bbq grill ready. But later in the evening, when it cooled off, we were able to play really nice and we had lots of fun. Gandalf grew a lot over the last couple of weeks and now he is not that much smaller than I am. He is a very sweet and beautiful Eurasier dog. We love to play together. But we can also lay together and relax quite well.
